Ingredients

  • 2 cups digestive biscuits or graham crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder (optional, for topping)


Instructions

  1. Mix crushed biscuits with melted butter until fully combined.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. Refrigerate the crust for at least 30 minutes to set.
  4. To make dulce de leche, simmer unopened condensed milk can in water for 2.5–3 hours, ensuring it stays fully submerged. Cool completely before opening.
  5. Spread the dulce de leche evenly over the chilled crust.
  6. Arrange banana slices over the caramel layer.
  7. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  8. Spoon or pipe whipped cream over the bananas.
