Ingredients
- 2 cups digestive biscuits or graham crackers, crushed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Mix crushed biscuits with melted butter until fully combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
- Refrigerate the crust for at least 30 minutes to set.
- To make dulce de leche, simmer unopened condensed milk can in water for 2.5–3 hours, ensuring it stays fully submerged. Cool completely before opening.
- Spread the dulce de leche evenly over the chilled crust.
- Arrange banana slices over the caramel layer.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Spoon or pipe whipped cream over the bananas.
- Finish with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder if desired.
- Chill for 1 hour before slicing and serving.
