Description
Blueberry Brie Jalapeño Poppers are a sweet-and-spicy appetizer featuring fresh jalapeños stuffed with creamy Brie cheese and blueberry preserves, then baked until melty and irresistible.
Ingredients
- 10 fresh jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeded
- 6 oz Brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
- 1/2 cup blueberry preserves
- 2 tbsp fresh blueberries (optional, for topping)
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
- Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
- Arrange jalapeño halves cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Fill each jalapeño with a cube of Brie cheese.
- Spoon blueberry preserves over the Brie, filling each pepper.
- Optionally drizzle lightly with honey and top with fresh blueberries.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until jalapeños are tender and cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven, cool slightly, and serve warm.
Notes
- Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid skin irritation.
- For extra heat, leave some seeds in the peppers.
- These poppers pair well with crackers or crostini.
