Description
Tender Cajun-seasoned steak tips served in a rich and creamy cheesy sauce, perfect over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes for a hearty meal.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized tips
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak tips for 3–4 minutes per side until browned but still tender. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Stir in heavy cream and beef broth, bringing to a gentle simmer.
- Add cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Return steak tips to skillet and toss in cheesy sauce until coated.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
Notes
- For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Can substitute chicken or shrimp for the steak.
- Pairs well with garlic bread or a fresh salad.
