Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, sliced or shredded
- 4 slices sandwich bread or burger buns
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/3 cup ranch dressing
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter (for toasting)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Chopped green onions or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven broiler or toaster oven to medium-high.
- Lightly brush bread with olive oil or butter and toast until lightly golden.
- In a bowl, toss chicken with garlic powder and black pepper.
- Spread ranch dressing evenly over toasted bread.
- Top with seasoned chicken, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place melts on a baking sheet and broil for 3–5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with green onions or parsley if desired.
- Serve hot.
