Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.
  3. Stir in shredded cheddar and Parmesan until evenly coated with flour.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, oil (or melted butter), and eggs until smooth.
  5. Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined — do not overmix.
