Description

Soft buns stuffed with spicy shredded chicken, creamy cheese, and a hint of chili sauce, perfect as a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 12 dinner rolls or burger buns
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, mozzarella, cheddar, mayonnaise, chili sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and salt until well combined.
  3. Cut the tops off the buns and hollow out slightly to make space for filling.
  4. Stuff each bun generously with the chicken and cheese mixture.
  5. Place the buns on a baking tray, brush the tops with melted butter, and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and buns are golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with extra chili sauce or ketchup.

Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Adjust chili sauce and hot sauce according to your spice preference.
  • These can be prepared ahead and baked just before serving.
