Description
A hearty and comforting casserole made with juicy chicken, crispy bacon, creamy ranch sauce, melted cheese, and golden tater tots baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 2 tbsp green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch seasoning, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 1 cup cheddar cheese, and milk until combined.
- Spread mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Layer tater tots evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until casserole is hot and tater tots are golden and crispy.
- Remove from oven, garnish with green onions, and serve warm.
Notes
- Rotisserie chicken works great for this recipe.
- Try adding broccoli or peas for extra veggies.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
