Description

A hearty and comforting casserole made with juicy chicken, crispy bacon, creamy ranch sauce, melted cheese, and golden tater tots baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch seasoning, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 1 cup cheddar cheese, and milk until combined.
  3. Spread mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Layer tater tots evenly over the top.
  5. Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until casserole is hot and tater tots are golden and crispy.
  7. Remove from oven, garnish with green onions, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Rotisserie chicken works great for this recipe.
