Description

A beautifully festive tart featuring creamy brie, sweet-tart cranberry sauce, and a flaky pastry crust—easy to assemble and perfect for holidays or elegant appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or canned)
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp water
  • Fresh rosemary for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll puff pastry and gently roll it to smooth seams.
  3. Score a 1-inch border around the edges to create a raised crust.
  4. Prick the center with a fork to prevent puffing.
  5. Arrange brie slices evenly in the center and spread cranberry sauce over the top.
  6. Drizzle honey if desired.
  7. Whisk egg and water together, then brush the edges of the pastry.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden and puffed.
  9. Top with fresh rosemary and cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

  • Use whole-berry cranberry sauce for better texture.
  • Add toasted pecans or walnuts on top for crunch.
  • Replace brie with camembert or goat cheese if preferred.
  • Serve warm for the best melty texture.
