  • 250g noodles (ramen, rice noodles, or egg noodles)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste (like sambal oelek or gochujang)
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 small carrot, julienned
  • 1/2 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • Sesame seeds and lime wedges (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
  2. In a wok or large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and onions; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in chili paste, soy sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Mix well to form a spicy sauce.
