Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Bake the crust for 8 minutes, then remove and let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add sugar and mix until creamy, then beat in eggs one at a time.
- Mix in vanilla extract, sour cream, and salt until fully combined.
- Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the center is set.
- Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add lemon zest or chocolate chips to the filling.
- Chill well before cutting for clean slices.
- Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 4 days.
