Description

Cream Cheese Bars That Taste Amazing are rich, creamy dessert bars with a buttery crust and a smooth, lightly sweetened cream cheese filling that melts in your mouth.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 8×8-inch baking pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 8 minutes, then remove and let cool slightly.
  5. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  6. Add sugar and mix until creamy, then beat in eggs one at a time.
  7. Mix in vanilla extract, sour cream, and salt until fully combined.
  8. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the center is set.
  10. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars.

Notes

  • Chill well before cutting for clean slices.
