Description
A rich and comforting pasta dish made with tender chicken, crispy bacon, and a creamy ranch-flavored sauce tossed with pasta for the ultimate weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with half of the ranch mix, and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, bringing to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in mozzarella, Parmesan, and remaining ranch seasoning until smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked pasta, chicken, and crumbled bacon. Toss until evenly coated in sauce.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker version.
- Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream to lighten the dish.
- Pairs well with garlic bread and a fresh green salad.
