Description

A creamy, cheesy crock pot spinach artichoke dip made effortlessly in the slow cooker, perfect for parties, game days, and easy entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well-drained
  • 14 oz artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the inside of the crock pot.
  2. Add cream cheese and sour cream to the crock pot.
  3. Stir in mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  4. Add chopped spinach and artichokes and mix until combined.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours or HIGH for 1–1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once hot and creamy, stir well and keep warm for serving.
  7. Serve with tortilla chips, bread, or vegetables.

Notes

  • Be sure to squeeze all excess moisture from the spinach.
  • Fresh spinach can be used if sautéed and drained first.
  • Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
