Ingredients
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Oil for frying
- 2 sandwich buns or ciabatta rolls
- 1 1/2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally to create thin cutlets.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Dredge chicken in flour, dip into beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry chicken until golden and cooked through, about 3–4 minutes per side.
- Drain chicken on paper towels.
- Lightly toast the sandwich buns.
- In a bowl, toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing.
- Assemble sandwiches with crispy chicken, dressed lettuce, and parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately while warm and crunchy.
