Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 sandwich buns or ciabatta rolls
  • 1 1/2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally to create thin cutlets.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Dredge chicken in flour, dip into beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry chicken until golden and cooked through, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  5. Drain chicken on paper towels.
  6. Lightly toast the sandwich buns.
  7. In a bowl, toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing.
  8. Assemble sandwiches with crispy chicken, dressed lettuce, and parmesan cheese.
