Description

Frozen Banana Snacks are a quick, healthy, and refreshing treat perfect for warm days. These bite-sized delights feature frozen banana slices coated in chocolate and sprinkled with your favorite toppings — a simple, customizable snack that satisfies both kids and adults.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, peanuts, or walnuts)
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut or sprinkles (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice bananas and place them in a single layer on the baking sheet. Freeze for 1 hour or until firm.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  4. Dip each frozen banana slice halfway or fully into melted chocolate, then place back on the parchment-lined sheet.
  5. Immediately sprinkle with chopped nuts, coconut, or sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
  6. Freeze again for at least 30 minutes until the chocolate is set.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the freezer until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Use peanut butter between two banana slices before dipping for a richer snack.
  • You can use white or milk chocolate for variation.
  • For a vegan version, use dairy-free chocolate chips.
  • Best enjoyed slightly thawed for a creamy texture.
