Description
Tender, juicy steak bites seared in garlic butter and tossed in a rich parmesan cream sauce—an indulgent, restaurant-quality dish made easily at home.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Parmesan Cream Sauce:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season steak bites with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites in batches, 2–3 minutes per side, until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the same skillet. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Make the cream sauce: Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir until smooth and thickened, 3–4 minutes.
- Return steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Simmer 1–2 minutes, then garnish with parsley.
- Serve warm over mashed potatoes, pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
Notes
- For extra richness, add a splash of white wine before adding cream.
- Use grated—not shredded—Parmesan for a smoother sauce.
- Make it lighter with half-and-half (sauce will be thinner).
- Pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables or a crisp salad.
