Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- For Streusel Topping: 1/2 cup flour, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 4 tbsp cold butter (cubed)
- For Glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1–2 tbsp milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
- Add egg, vanilla extract, and sour cream, mixing until combined.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until a soft dough forms. Chill dough for 20 minutes to firm up.
- Meanwhile, make the streusel: combine flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in the butter with a fork or fingers until crumbly.
- Using a cookie scoop, drop 2-tbsp portions of dough onto the baking sheet. Press slightly to flatten and make a small indent in the center of each cookie.
- Top each cookie with 1–2 teaspoons of streusel topping.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
