Description

These Healthy Chicken Burgers with a Caesar Twist combine juicy, lean chicken patties with creamy Caesar-inspired flavor — topped with crisp romaine, Parmesan, and a light Caesar dressing for a fresh, satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken (lean)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (whole wheat or panko)
  • 2 tbsp light Caesar dressing
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
  • 4 tomato slices
  • 2 tbsp additional light Caesar dressing (for topping)
  • Extra Parmesan shavings, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, Caesar dressing, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix gently until just combined. Form into 4 equal patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or olive oil.
  4. Cook chicken patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and golden brown.
  5. Toast burger buns lightly on the grill or in a pan.
  6. Assemble the burgers: spread a thin layer of Caesar dressing on the bottom bun, add romaine lettuce, a chicken patty, a tomato slice, and Parmesan shavings. Top with the remaining bun.
  7. Serve immediately with a side salad, sweet potato fries, or roasted vegetables.

Notes

  • For a low-carb version, serve the burger on lettuce wraps instead of buns.
  • Use Greek yogurt Caesar dressing for extra protein and fewer calories.
  • Add crispy bacon or avocado for a flavor upgrade.
  • These patties can be meal-prepped and frozen for up to 3 months.
