Description

Indulge in Cheesy Pasta Bliss — a creamy, dreamy pasta dish loaded with gooey melted cheese, tender noodles, and rich, comforting flavor. This ultimate cheese-lover’s recipe is perfect for cozy dinners, potlucks, or when you need a hearty, satisfying meal in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340g) pasta (penne, macaroni, or fusilli)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk (whole or 2%)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.
  3. Slowly add milk and heavy cream, whisking constantly until smooth and thickened, about 3–4 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low and stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses until melted and creamy.
  5. Add garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to taste.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until evenly coated.
  7. If desired, transfer to a baking dish, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, and broil for 3–5 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm for pure cheesy perfection.

Notes

  • Mix in cooked chicken, bacon, or veggies for extra flavor and texture.
  • Use a blend of cheeses like Gruyère, fontina, or Monterey Jack for more depth.
  • Best served immediately while creamy and hot.
