Ingredients
- 1 large Italian sub roll or baguette
- 4 slices deli ham
- 4 slices salami
- 4 slices pepperoni
- 2 slices provolone cheese
- 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup banana peppers, sliced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Slice the sub roll in half lengthwise and toast lightly if desired.
- Layer ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone cheese onto the bread.
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Add shredded lettuce, red onion, and banana peppers to the dressing and toss to coat.
- Pile the grinder salad mixture on top of the meats and cheese.
- Close the sandwich, press gently, and slice in half before serving.
