Description
A bold, indulgent steak sandwich inspired by the viral “Marry Me” flavors, featuring juicy seared steak, a creamy sun-dried tomato sauce, and melty cheese on toasted bread.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) flank steak or ribeye
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil or parsley
- 4 hoagie rolls or sandwich buns
- 4 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Season steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat and sear steak 3–4 minutes per side until desired doneness.
- Remove steak and let rest; slice thinly against the grain.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add sun-dried tomatoes, heavy cream, parmesan, and red pepper flakes; simmer until slightly thickened.
- Stir in fresh herbs and return sliced steak to the sauce.
- Toast sandwich buns lightly.
- Fill buns with creamy steak mixture and top with cheese.
- Broil briefly until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot.

- Use ribeye for extra richness.
- Add sautéed onions or spinach if desired.
- Serve with fries or a simple salad.
