Description

A bold, indulgent steak sandwich inspired by the viral “Marry Me” flavors, featuring juicy seared steak, a creamy sun-dried tomato sauce, and melty cheese on toasted bread.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) flank steak or ribeye
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil or parsley
  • 4 hoagie rolls or sandwich buns
  • 4 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese


Instructions

  1. Season steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat and sear steak 3–4 minutes per side until desired doneness.
  3. Remove steak and let rest; slice thinly against the grain.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add sun-dried tomatoes, heavy cream, parmesan, and red pepper flakes; simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Stir in fresh herbs and return sliced steak to the sauce.
  7. Toast sandwich buns lightly.
  8. Fill buns with creamy steak mixture and top with cheese.
  9. Broil briefly until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot.
