Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 3/4 cup Nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place one sheet of puff pastry on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Spread Nutella evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.
  4. Place the second puff pastry sheet on top and gently press the edges to seal.
  5. Place a small bowl in the center and cut the pastry into a wreath shape.
  6. Cut the ring into evenly spaced strips, then twist each strip twice.
  7. Remove the bowl and brush the pastry with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and decorate as desired before serving.
