Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup Nutella (warmed slightly for easier spreading)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll puff pastry onto a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread a thin, even layer of Nutella over the entire sheet.
  4. Roll the pastry tightly into a log from the long side. Freeze for 10 minutes to firm slightly.
  5. Slice into 1-inch swirls and place flat on the baking sheet.
  6. Whisk egg with milk to make an egg wash; brush tops lightly.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
  8. Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
