Description
A decadent, no-fuss dessert made with layers of Oreos, chocolate pudding, whipped topping, and cake mix baked into a gooey, indulgent treat.
Ingredients
- 1 package (14 oz) Oreo cookies
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 box (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread Oreo cookies evenly in the bottom of the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk until smooth. Pour over Oreos.
- Sprinkle dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the top.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, until bubbly and cooked through.
- Allow to cool slightly, then top with whipped topping.
- Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra indulgence, drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce before serving.
- Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- Can be made ahead and reheated in the oven.
