Description

Flaky, buttery crescent rolls filled with a gooey, nutty pecan pie filling — these Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls are an easy, irresistible dessert or holiday treat ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8-count) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Powdered sugar or caramel sauce for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  4. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the pecan mixture onto the wider end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up each crescent from the wide end toward the tip, gently sealing the sides to prevent the filling from leaking out.
  6. Place on the prepared baking sheet, point side down, and bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Optional: drizzle with caramel sauce or dust with powdered sugar for an extra sweet finish.

Notes

  • Use toasted pecans for deeper flavor.
  • For a sticky pecan glaze, brush leftover filling over the top before baking.
  • These taste amazing warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
