Description

This Peppermint Swirl Fudge is a festive, creamy white chocolate fudge with beautiful red swirls and a refreshing peppermint flavor — a perfect holiday treat that’s easy to make and looks stunning on dessert tables.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz / 396g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Red gel food coloring
  • 1/4 cup crushed candy canes (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour about two-thirds of the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Add a few drops of red gel food coloring to the remaining mixture and stir lightly — do not fully mix to maintain a swirled effect.
  6. Spoon the red fudge mixture on top of the white layer, then use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the colors together for a marbled look.
  7. Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top if desired, pressing them lightly into the fudge.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours, or until set and firm.
  9. Lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper and cut into small squares.
  10. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, use high-quality white chocolate chips or baking bars.
  • Add a few drops of peppermint oil for a stronger flavor.
  • Perfect for gifting — wrap pieces in parchment paper or add to treat boxes.
