Description

A flavorful and easy flatbread topped with pesto, chicken, cheese, and fresh vegetables, perfect for a quick meal or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 2 flatbreads or naan
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Spread pesto evenly over each flatbread.
  4. Top with chicken, mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and slice before serving.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought or homemade pesto.
  • Try adding arugula after baking for extra freshness.
