Description

An elegant prosciutto and honey burrata pizza featuring a crisp crust, creamy burrata, salty prosciutto, and a sweet drizzle of honey for a perfect balance of flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or olive oil (for white-style pizza)
  • 8 oz low-moisture mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 ball burrata cheese (8 oz)
  • 4 oz prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh arugula (optional, for topping)
  • Cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
  2. Roll or stretch pizza dough into a 12-inch round.
  3. Brush dough lightly with olive oil or spread pizza sauce evenly.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough.
  5. Transfer pizza to the hot oven and bake for 10–12 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  6. Remove pizza from oven and immediately tear burrata over the hot pizza.
  7. Top with prosciutto slices.
  8. Drizzle with honey and season with cracked black pepper and red pepper flakes if desired.
  9. Add fresh arugula on top if using.
  10. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add burrata after baking to keep it creamy.
  • Hot honey works well for a spicy-sweet twist.
  • Best enjoyed immediately after assembling.
