Description
An elegant prosciutto and honey burrata pizza featuring a crisp crust, creamy burrata, salty prosciutto, and a sweet drizzle of honey for a perfect balance of flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce or olive oil (for white-style pizza)
- 8 oz low-moisture mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 ball burrata cheese (8 oz)
- 4 oz prosciutto, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh arugula (optional, for topping)
- Cracked black pepper, to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
- Roll or stretch pizza dough into a 12-inch round.
- Brush dough lightly with olive oil or spread pizza sauce evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough.
- Transfer pizza to the hot oven and bake for 10–12 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove pizza from oven and immediately tear burrata over the hot pizza.
- Top with prosciutto slices.
- Drizzle with honey and season with cracked black pepper and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Add fresh arugula on top if using.
- Slice and serve warm.

- Add burrata after baking to keep it creamy.
