Viral & Creamy Turkish Pasta is a rich and comforting dish inspired by Turkish mantı flavors, featuring pasta tossed in a garlicky yogurt sauce, spiced butter, and savory ground beef for a bold, creamy finish.
Ingredients
- 400 g pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 250 g ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp dried mint
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté onion until soft.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in garlic, paprika, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- In a bowl, mix yogurt and heavy cream until smooth.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and gently toss with the beef mixture.
- Lower heat and stir in the yogurt mixture until creamy and heated through.
- In a small pan, melt butter and add dried mint, heating briefly.
- Drizzle mint butter over the pasta.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Do not boil the yogurt sauce to prevent curdling.
- Greek yogurt can be used for a thicker sauce.
- Adjust chili flakes to control spice level.
