Description

Viral & Creamy Turkish Pasta is a rich and comforting dish inspired by Turkish mantı flavors, featuring pasta tossed in a garlicky yogurt sauce, spiced butter, and savory ground beef for a bold, creamy finish.

Ingredients

  • 400 g pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 250 g ground beef
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp dried mint
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté onion until soft.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in garlic, paprika, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. In a bowl, mix yogurt and heavy cream until smooth.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and gently toss with the beef mixture.
  7. Lower heat and stir in the yogurt mixture until creamy and heated through.
  8. In a small pan, melt butter and add dried mint, heating briefly.
  9. Drizzle mint butter over the pasta.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Do not boil the yogurt sauce to prevent curdling.
  • Greek yogurt can be used for a thicker sauce.
  • Adjust chili flakes to control spice level.
